The new Da Vinci Automatic from IWC Schaffhausen with its attractive tonneau-shaped case is also an aesthetic, design revelation. IWC originally set the trend in1985 with the introduction of the Da Vinci perpetual calendar chronograph. The Da Vinci Automatic – available in rose gold, white gold or stainless steel – brings a case diameter of only 35.6 mm to the wrist. With its automatic, calibre 30130 movement, it provides its wearer with a reliable companion for everyday use. This item of Haute-horology worn on the wrist ensures that every day is a big day in the truest sense. For its integral large date liberates the most useful of all the supplementary displays from its miniature existence. With its centre seconds and seconds stop function for accurate setting, the Da Vinci Automatic is also fully up to date from the point of view of watchmaking technology.
The design of the case and the dial share a resemblance with the larger model. The three case materials, rose gold, white gold and stainless steel, with their dials provide a selection for the variations of good taste.
